French Foreign Minister calls Prime Minister Mikati, tackles current situation

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius called on Monday Prime Minister Najib Mikati and tackled the current situation in Lebanon and the region.

During the call, PM Mikati hoped that France would "support the Lebanese army and enhance its capacities."

Mikati also demanded France and the international community to assist Lebanon in its efforts exerted to host the Syrian refugees.

For his part, Fabius reiterated that France remains committed to Lebanon's stability and supports the Lebanese government in stances pertaining to the Syrian crisis.
