Salameh supports funding audiovisual companies

The governor of Banque du Liban Riad Salameh expressed on Tuesday his support to the idea presented by the President of the Audiovisual National Council Abdel Hadi Mahfouz which stipulates funding audiovisual companies with soft loans presented by the Lebanese banks.

In this regard, Salameh expressed his doubt that Lebanese banks would respond to such a demand due to previous experiences they encountered, adding that they are not confident in these companies capabilities in paying off their loans.
