Israeli army says more than 30 Hezbollah fighters killed in South Lebanon clashes

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said that forces from the Israeli military have killed more than 30 fighters from Hezbollah in face-to-face clashes in South Lebanon.

In a statement posted on X, Adraee said the casualties included around 10 members of the Radwan Force, killed in a series of operations carried out by the 5th Brigade.

He said the operations involved a combination of air and ground strikes, as well as sniper fire and drone attacks.

Adraee added that in a separate incident, Israeli forces identified a group of Hezbollah fighters inside a building and targeted it within minutes, killing those inside.

He also said that dozens of Hezbollah infrastructure sites were destroyed and that weapons depots belonging to the group were discovered during the operations.
