Israeli army raises flag over Beaufort Castle in South Lebanon

The Israeli army has raised the Israeli flag over the Beaufort Castle, a historic fortress overlooking large areas of South Lebanon.

The move comes after 26 years of Israel's withdrawal from the area. The castle, located near the town of Arnoun, has long held strategic military significance because of its elevated position overlooking the surrounding region.
