Israeli military issues evacuation warning for residents south of Zahrani River

Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee on Sunday issued what he described as an urgent warning to residents of South Lebanon, particularly those located south of the Zahrani River, calling on them to evacuate immediately.

In a statement, Adraee said the Israeli military was being compelled to operate "with force" against Hezbollah following what he described as violations of the ceasefire agreement and attacks targeting Israel's civilian areas.

He said the Israeli military did not intend to harm civilians but urged all residents in the area south of the Zahrani River, as shown on a map accompanying the warning, to leave their homes immediately for their safety.
