Election of Lawyers Syndicate Council members postponed to November 20th

The election of the Lawyers Syndicate Council’s members that was scheduled for November 6th is postponed to the 20th since the quorum was not reached.

The Lawyers' Syndicate held the first session of a scheduled general assembly meeting to save the scheduled agenda. The Syndicate’s head Amal Haddad and the Council’s members arrived on time, along with the candidates for the position of Lawyer Syndicate’s head, the candidates for the Syndicate Council’s members and a number of lawyers. At ten o’clock, an hour after the meeting’s scheduled time, the quorum was not reached.

Therefore, the session’s moderator postponed the general assembly to the second and last session scheduled for Sunday November 20th, at 9 a.m.
