UK gives go-ahead to US extradition of WikiLeaks' founder Julian Assange

British interior minister Priti Patel approved on Friday the extradition of WikiLeaks' founder Julian Assange to the United States to face criminal charges, bringing his long-running legal saga closer to a conclusion.
