Israeli strikes hit school in southern Iran, kill 24 students: Provincial official

Israeli strikes hit a school in the southern Iranian province of Hormozgan near the strategic sea route of the Strait of Hormuz, killing 24 students, a provincial official said, according to state media.

"The number of students killed at Shajare Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab, Hormozgan has reached 24," the county governor said, according to state television, after another provincial official said the deaths were due to Israeli strikes.
