REPORT: Economic bodies to decry Lebanon’s situation in BIEL conference

Economic committees gathering the country’s most prominent bankers and businessmen are set to convene in a conference in Biel on Thursday, to denounce the economic situation in the country.

In this regard, head of the Future Movement Saad Hariri said Wednesday that the challenges faced by the Lebanese people due to the deteriorating economic and social situation may increase should the presidential vacuum and institutional paralysis persist.
 
Hariri said via his twitter account that the deputies and ministers of the Future Movement are ready to discuss any proposals that will be presented during future meetings.
 
In this context, Hariri stressed that his movement will deploy every effort to implement any solution that serves the interest of the Lebanese people.
