Hotel reservations in Lebanon almost full for holiday season
Lebanon officially entered the holiday season, and thousands of Lebanese expatriates and foreigners are coming to the country to celebrate Christmas and New year.

Even though the tourism movement began late, the number of arrivals is increasing daily, and the number of reservations is acceptable.

According to Anbaa Online, these are good signs, but their results are not positive "on the ground."

Jean Abboud, head of the Syndicate of Travel and Tourism Executives, said that the situation is good, and the movement is progressing with time, adding that "we have 10 or 15 days to bring back to Lebanon the scenes we saw in the summer."

"Between 500,000 and 550,000 are visiting Lebanon during this period, about 35% of them are of Arab nationalities, while most of them are Lebanese expatriates," he added.

He also revealed that the rates of flight reservations reached 100%.

In contrast, the rates of hotel reservations vary between Beirut and the mountainous area since it is expected to rise at most 50% in Beirut. In contrast, in Al Arz, Bikfaya, and Zaarour, it reached 95%, adding that restaurant and nightclub reservations are also high.
