It looks like the Syrian file has been placed on a fast track again. Both the Arab League and the Syrian opposition are doing almost everything to raise the issue to the United Nations.

Moscow has already placed its veto as it announced that it will not support any U.N. Security Council resolution demanding Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to resign. On the other hand the Regime is carrying out fast and firm military operation to impose a fait accompli on the ground and on the diplomatic level.

Between the actions of the Syrian opposition and the Regime, Syrian is torn apart and drained while waiting for the major powers to find a solution.

Washington refuses that Assad stays in power but is not willing to take any action, Moscow refuses the idea of Assad leaving power and is not proposing any other solution, thus the American-Russian opposing views towards the Syrian file seems to be growing.

Locally it seems that the wage adjustment plan is on the right track but the electricity and the diesel oil file exploded.

General Michel Aoun called today during a press conference on all leaders and officials in the Free Patriotic Movement to be ready for popular movements protesting against the electricity issues in the country.
