REPORT: Judge Saqr inspects site of Tayouneh explosion, says investigations still in very early stages

Lebanese Armed Forces and Internal Security forces implemented on Tuesday tight security measures in South Beirut’s Tayouneh region where a suicide bomber blew up his car on Monday.

Meanwhile, State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr, along with a delegation from the Lebanese Armed Forces arrived at the site of the explosion to inspect the damages.

Judge Saqr mentioned that the bomb used in the explosion weighs approximately 40 kilograms, stressing that investigations are still in very early stages.

For his part, Ghobeiri Mayor Mohammad Said Khansa told LBCI that terrorism will target all Lebanese regions if tight security measures were not immediately implemented.
