From Doha to Ankara: Wahhab warns of missiles if Syria attacked

The Head of Tawhid movement Wiam Wahhab stressed that the situation is worse than some might think, calling for vigilance and openness to all parties. Wahhab said that no domestic confrontations should be tolerated.

“The Lebanese will certainly manage their affairs for tens of years to come”, Wahhab said, answering fears about the fate of Syria and Hezbollah. Wahhad stressed that those who think that Israel will enter Lebanon to deal a blow to Hezbollah, should the Syrian regime fall, are wrong.

Wahhab reassured that the future of Syria is certain, adding: “No one believes that overthrowing the [Syrian regime] will be an easy task. If the Syrian regime is attacked, missiles will be fired in the direction of Doha all the way to Ankara because toppling [the regime] is a red line.”
