Health Ministry, with the support of security forces, raided on Tuesday the clinic of gynecologist Riad al-Alam who performed about 200 abortions on the 75 sex slaves recently freed.
The ministry shuttered the clinic and sealed it off with red wax.
It also cancelled the license of doctor al-Alam, the anesthesiologist and the nurse.
This as a health ministry representative confirmed that the ministry is following up on this case and is willing to expand the investigations.
The Internal Security Forces arrested last Friday Dr. Riad al-Alam for carrying out “nearly 200 abortions”.
An ISF statement said that the security forces arrested a doctor and a nurse who carried out abortions, one day after it had apprehended Lebanon's largest known sex trafficking ring and freed 75 Syrian women.
