REPORT: EDL day workers block road outside company headquarters
Electricte Du Liban day-workers blocked on Wednesday the Mar Mikhael highway in Beirut in both directions in front of the EDL Company building for several hours, causing a suffocating traffic jam.
 

They vowed to continue their movements until their demands are met.

 
This as scuffles erupted between the day workers and the security forces trying to re-open the road.
 
The highway was re-opened later on and the traffic went back to normal as the workers headed to the Civil Service Council in Verdun to stage a sit-in there.
