Former Minister Salim Jreissati called on Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil to annul the written memo he issued concerning the common lands, “so that no dangerous document remains at the disposal of the surveyors.”
In a joint press conference held with MP Simon Abi Ramia from the Parliament, Jreissati noted that “the common lands are a property with no owner,” adding that the municipality, being granted the guardianship over the land, has no right of ownership.
