Connelly praises steps taken by Central Bank of Lebanon
U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly met with the governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon on Monday to discuss the economic situation in Lebanon.  

Connelly praised the steps taken by the Bank to guarantee the transparency and organization of the financial sector to achieve permanent prosperity in the country. Connelly also called for more awareness in this regard.       

Connelly reiterated the U.S.’s commitment to maintain a sovereign, stable and independent Lebanon.
