Bassil: New vote law must represent Lebanese people of all sects and parties
Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil said on Tuesday that the new vote law must represent the Lebanese people of all sects and parties.
Bassil’s comments were made following the Change and Reform bloc’s weekly meeting whereby he noted that the electoral law based on proportionality is the most appropriate law.
“We voiced three NOs... No for the 1960 vote law.. No for vacuum and NO for the extension," Bassil added.
