Following the conflicts between Agriculture Minister Ghazi Zeaiter and director general of Public Cooperatives Gloria Abou Zeid, the Shura Council issued a verdict reversing the minister’s decision to suspend Abou Zeid placing her upon compulsory leave of absence, and allowing her to return to her job on Thursday.
The Shura Council also approved the authenticity of the decisions taken by Abou Zeid regarding the employees who violated the ruled at the Agriculture Ministry, these decisions that formed the subject of the debate between her and Minister Zeaiter.
