The Lebanese army asked on Monday the Israeli army to stop its works at the border Fatima gate which faces the southern town of Kafarkila.
The request was made through the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and the monitor teams as the territory that the Israeli army is digging belongs to Lebanon.
This as the region is on alert, while the Lebanese army and the UNIFIL are patrolling the area.
