Head of the Finance and Budget Committee MP Ibrahim Kanaan met Monday with Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil at the Finance Ministry in a bid to agree over the final drafts related to the pending issues between the committee and the ministry concerning the draft budget.
Following the meeting, Kanaan told LBCI that the meeting with Hassan Khalil was positive and the majority of the obstacles have been overcome, adding that the committee might resume its meetings as of tomorrow Tuesday.
