Sheikh Abbas Zgheib: We’ve seen hard work to end case of Lebanese abductees

Sheikh Abbas Zgheib assigned by the Shiite Islamic Council to follow up on the case of the Lebanese abductees in Syria, visited Major General Abbas Ibrahim on Thursday, accompanied by some of the abductees’ relatives.

Following the meeting, Sheikh Zgheib said that the atmosphere was positive and reassuring, adding that he sensed hard work underway to put an end to the case.

Sheikh Zgheib said that Maj. Gen. Ibrahim reassured him about Mohammad Blaybel, an abductee in Homs, and told him that efforts are underway to reveal his fate.
