The Airport Security’s gendarmerie inspection unit foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotic pills to Riyadh on Tuesday.     

In the details, the inspection unit suspected 25-year-old Jordanian passenger who was trying to travel to Riyadh, seizing 3.4 kg of narcotic pills in his double bottom suitcase.      

He was arrested then referred to the Narcotics Control Bureau to pursue inquiries following preliminary investigations conducted by the airport’s specialized authorities.
