Member of the Development and Liberation MP Yassin Jaber declared Thursday that there is a major problem regarding the electricity, noting that the financial situation has become very difficult.
“I do not have any personal issue with anyone but a nation problem that needs to be addressed during a dialogue,” he emphasized.
In a press conference, Jaber stated that the electricity file is not the responsibility of one person, calling on Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri to call for a workshop dedicated for this issue.
He added that the visit of German Chancellor Angela Merkel to Lebanon was an opportunity to further search into means to benefit from foreign assistance on the electricity issue.
Answering a question about his leaked remarks on the era, MP Jaber said that “he is responsible for his statements made on the media,” stressing that he respects President Aoun and hopes that his mandate will be full of reforms.
