Ibrahim al-Sayyed: Dialogue table best place to discuss all the issues

Ibrahim al-Sayyed stressed on Friday that the dialogue table is the best place to discuss all the issues that must be resolved by discussions, not disruption, calling for finding a modern electoral law which ensures just representation, "because Hezbollah is against the 60s law."

Following a visit made by a Hezbollah delegation to Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Rai, al-Sayyed noted that he is against changing the cabinet, "since the current cabinet must effectively assume its responsibilities," pointing that calling for cabinet change contributes in creating more chaos.

Al-Sayyed recalled that "March 14 dealt with the Security Council and the United Nations during the previous stage while isolating the Parliament and the cabinet," stressing that there is no such thing as neutrality in Lebanon.

A delegation from Hezbollah headed by Sayyed Ibrahim Amin al-Sayyed met with Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai on Friday to congratulate him on his appointment as Cardinal.

The delegation included Hussain Fadlallah, Ali al-Mokdad, Ghaleb Abu Zainab and Hezbollah Media Relations Officer Ibrahim al Moussawi. The meeting was held in the presence of Bishop Samir Mazloum and the Secretary General of the Islamic-Christian Dialogue Committee, Emir Hares Chehab.
