The Energy Ministry defeated the residents of al-Mansourieh-Ain Saadeh and managed, under the protection of the security forces, to start installation works to extend high voltage power lines to a distance of 1900 meters.
Consequently, the residents staged a sit-in in the region to protest against the decision, and a dispute between protesters and the security forces was reported.
