Karantina road opened after hours of flooding and rescues
Karantina road was blocked on Friday morning due to high flood water.

The Beirut Fire Department managed to pull many of the cars trapped under high water and rescue the drivers and passengers from a particularly precarious situation.

The fish market located in the area was submerged under two meters of water and around 20 warehouses were inundated.
