UNHCR: At least 14000 refugees registered in Lebanon over past week

The weekly report issued by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees concerning the situation of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon, said that at least 14000 Syrian refugees have been registered at the UNHCR over the past week, bringing to total number of refugees receiving aid from international organizations to 739000 refugees.

In this context, the Syrian refugees are distributed across the Lebanese regions, as 33% or of them live in North Lebanon, 34% in the Bekaa, 18% in Beirut and Mount Lebanon while 13% of the refugees live in South Lebanon.
