President Sleiman says Lebanon crisis must urge politicians to hold talks

President Michel Sleiman said on Saturday that Lebanon's current political crisis should urge Lebanese politicians to return to talks.

In a statement on International Peace Day, President Sleiman noted that such efforts would help Lebanon "address the repercussions of the regional crisis in this pressing stage."

Sleiman also said that “the United Nations and Security Council should deploy peaceful efforts to resolve crises and conflicts in the region.”
