MP Hout to LBCI: Assad used chemical weapons against his people

Al-Jamaa al-Islamiya MP Imad al-Hout said on Thursday that the meeting held in New York to support Lebanon highlights the importance of the country on the international level.

In an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, MP Hout said he can "hardly understand the stances of National Struggle Front leader MP Walid Jumblatt since 'they change on a daily basis.'"

On the Syrian file, MP Hout said that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad used chemical weapons against his people, noting that he handed them afterwards in a bid "to save himself."
