Retired LAF officer dies after wall of his house collapses in Baalbek

The state-run National News Agency reported on Wednesday that a retired army officer died when a wall of his house collapsed on him in the town of Hosh Barda in the Bekaa city of Baalbek.

The man who was identified as Elias Toufic Abou Haidar (44) suffered from severe head injuries and was rushed to Dar al-Amal hospital but died soon after.

He will be laid to rest in his hometown of Baskinta on Wednesday.
