Israeli troops cross border fence in Lebanon's Wazzani

An Israeli infantry force, escorted by two Merkava tanks, crossed on Thursday the border fence in southern Lebanon's Wazzani heights, advancing twenty to fifty meters where a 12 member unit combed the area at the eastern bank of the Wazzani River, the state-run National News Agency reported.

Dozens of heavy artillery shells were heard from the occupied Shebaa farms at dawn today, which were the result of an Israeli army maneuver at the northeastern side of the farms and occupied Golan, the agency said.
