Sleiman: The Armenians are part of the Lebanese society
President Michel Sleiman arrived Saturday to Beirut after a three day official visit to Armenia, whereby he confirmed the integral part Armenians play in Lebanon.

A final visit to the Armenian presidential palace today was an occasion for Sleiman to thank President Serzh Sargsyan for his hospitality. Both men agreed to enhance bilateral ties and put into effect signed agreements.

Afterwards, the President and his First Lady visited Yerevan Brandy Company, the leading enterprise of Armenia for the production of alcoholic beverages. Sleiman unveiled a plate placed on a brandy barrel with the name of President Sleiman carved on it, a custom at the Company whenever a high ranking official visits.

Catholicos Karekin II, head of the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church, also had an audience with the President before his departure back to Lebanon.
