De Freij to LBCI: Participants of Orthodox gathering outbid each other

Future bloc MP Nabil De Freij told Nahrkom Said TV show that people are fed up with weapons and security upheavals, adding that March 14 parties work towards the passage to a state.

“Beirut MPs will form a delegation to meet President Michel Sleiman, Speaker Nabih Berri and PM Najib Mikati to raise the issue of disarming Beirut” De Freij said.

De Freij stressed that during the Orthodox gathering, the participants were trying to outbid each other, adding that he is opposed to any law that encourages extremism in Lebanon.
