Muslim Scholars Council to LBCI: Mounting frustration against the military institution increasing

Head of the Muslim Scholars Council Sheikh Adnan Omama said on Monday that frustration against the military institution is building up amongst the people, adding that the Council will meet with officials at the Ministry of Defense to claim the release of Sheikh Omar al-Atrash.

Sheikh Omama's comments were made during a phone call with Nharkom Said TV show in which he urged the military institution to deal with suspects "within legal frameworks."

He concluded by saying that the Council cherishes coexistence and seeks the stability of the country.

Sheikh Omar al-Atrash was arrested for reportedly being involved in the recent bomb attacks.
