President Sleiman warns against continuous attacks on LAF

President Michel Sleiman warned against the continuous attacks targeting the Lebanese Armed Forces' officers and soldiers who are fulfilling their duties in defending the country and its citizens.

Sleiman stressed the need to support the army in its national mission inside the Lebanese territories and along the border.

"Attacks against the LAF target a symbol of national dignity, sovereignty, freedom and democracy, " he added.

This comes as Sleiman held a meeting with General Security Chief Major General Abbas Ibrahim with talks featuring high on the local and regional developments.
