Israel installs monitoring devices in Jabal Saddana heights

An Israeli military technical team installed on Tuesday surveillance cameras and eavesdropping devices on iron pillars in the heights of the occupied Jabal Saddana, west of the Shebaa town, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The team was escorted by an armored force including a number of "Merkava" tanks and "Hummer" vehicles, the agency said.

The installation took place at the same location where Lebanon's Shi'ite movement Hezbollah targeted an Israeli patrol with an explosive device last week.

This comes as a drone also conducted flights over the mentioned area, the NNA added.
