On another note, Patriarch Rai tackled in the holy mass the killing of young Lebanese man Yves Nawfal, emphasizing that justice should be served regardless of the circumstances.
He also called on Lebanese officials to get back to the Christian-Muslim coexistence stated in the constitution, adding that they should speed up the election of a president and pass a new law for the parliamentary elections in order to restore the work of all public institutions.
