Delegation of Lebanese lawyers to return to Beirut following Cairo assault

A delegation of Lebanese lawyers who came under attack by Syrian lawyers in a Cairo conference Sunday, is set to arrive to the Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport later on Monday at around 9:30 p.m.

The delegation will be welcomed by Lebanese figures at the airport’s courtyard.

The Lebanese lawyers representing the Bar Associations of Tripoli and Beirut at the 23rd General Conference of the Arab Lawyers Union, held in Cairo, were attacked by the Syrian delegation of lawyers, during a speech delivered by member of the Future Movement Lawyer Fadi Saad on terrorism affairs.
