Families of Arsal kidnapped soldiers say will start escalating within 24 hours

Families of the Arsal kidnapped soldiers held a meeting on Tuesday with Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt at his residence in Clemenceau.

Following the meeting, the families said that they will start escalating within 24 hours, adding that they will close Casino Du Liban in case the government fails to comply.

They also said that the Lebanese state is not dealing seriously with the case of their abducted sons, adding that they will meet with General Security chief Major General Abbas Ibrahim on Wednesday.

Four of the soldiers held by the Nusra Front have been killed in detention despite ongoing negotiations with the Lebanese authorities to secure their release.
