Former MP Jreisati says halting Jannah Damn project purely political
Former Minister Salim Jreisati stated on Tuesday that the cabinet should assume its responsibilities regarding the controversy regarding the filling of Beirut Port’s fourth basin.

Following the Change and Reform Bloc’s weekly meeting, Jreisati stated that Beirut, Jbeil and Keserwan will benefit from the Jannah Damn, adding that the decision of halting works at the damn was political par excellence.

He also stated that the bloc discussed during its meeting the matter of holding extraordinary parliamentary sessions to discuss various pending laws.
