In his weekly editorial to the PSP-affiliated Al-Anbaa newspaper, MP Jumblatt did not rule out the possibility of more violent reactions from all sides involved in the conflict, stressing that this matter will have a negative effect on stability in Europe and the West and will lead to political and security chaos.
On another note, MP Jumblatt expressed his awe over the world’s silence following the murder of 3 Muslim students in the United States “although preliminary investigations revealed that the motives were not personal but were based on hatred and religious hostility.”
In this regard MP Jumblatt stressed that overlooking this crime by US media is part of longstanding bias for Israel in contrast to complete disregard to Arab and Muslim rights "due to Zionist pressure on US political and media decision making."
He also emphasized that the entire world is turning a blind eye toward crimes against humanity committed by Israel against Palestinians as well as crimes which are taking place on a daily basis in Syria.
