Lebanese army raids house of Lebanese national, seizes homemade explosives

Lebanese army soldiers raided the house of a Lebanese national in the eastern city of Zahle and seized homemade explosives and surveillance cameras, an Army communiqué said Tuesday.

“The army received information that an individual identified as F. S., 48, makes homemade explosives at his home. The army raided the house in Zahle's Industrial City and found the explosives and electric appliances and surveillance cameras,” the statement added.

The detainee is still under interrogation by the army to reveal further information.
