Allouch to LBC: Current government is the fruit of Iran-Syria agreement
Future bloc’s political office member and former MP Mustafa Allouch told the Nharkom Said TV show that the government formation was the fruit of an agreement between Iran and Syria, adding that its fall is now in the hands of Hezbollah.
Even if PM Najib Mikati has the authority to decide whether the cabinet will fund the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), Hezbollah will have the final word, asserted Allouch.

“I wonder how Hezbollah will accept the fact that PM Mikati endorses funding the STL since in Hezbollah’s words it is an American-Israeli conspiracy”, Allouch said.

Allouch added that the opposition will continue exerting pressures to overthrow the government; however, he expected its fall to be the result of the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Commenting on remarks made by Loyalty to the Resistance bloc Mohammad Raad who said that Hezbollah’s patience has run out, Allouch said, the “14 March coalitions’ patience has run out too, and we will no longer accept the empty remarks made by MP Raad from time to time”.

Stating that Hezbollah is an extension of the Iranian regime with a domestic strategy, Allouch was quoted as saying that “March 14 is not only concerned by Hezbollah’s weapons, which are serving only the purposes of a specific sect, but it is also concerned by Hezbollah’s external alliances”.

Allouch urged Hezbollah to put its faith in the Lebanese Armed Forces’ (LAF) capacity to make the decision between war and peace and to trust the government with alliances, funding and armament.
