Jeita divers see the light at the end of the water tunnel

A water tunnel was finally discovered after seven years of searching 250 meters below Jeita Grotto.

The newly discovered tunnel was named after a volunteer team of divers that managed to draw a 3-D map of the tunnel. In 2004, the team embarked on its mission in search of labyrinthine tunnel.

On the other hand, the Jeita Grotto administration urged the Telecommunications Ministry to enable sms voting for the Seven Wonders of the World competition, in hopes that they could win the contest ending 11/11/2011 and dedicate their achievement to President Michel Sleiman.
