Sources from the Lebanese Foreign Ministry told LBCI that the issue of the two Lebanese detained in Uganda has reached its end, noting that the Ugandan authorities have released on of them.

 

The detainees are identified as Hussein Mahmoud Yassin and Ali Yassin.

 

In July, two Lebanese men have been arrested in Uganda after one attempted to board a flight at Entebbe International Airport. According to the Kampala Post, a Ugandan news outlet, Hussein Mahmood Yassine was arrested on July 7 on suspicion of being an undercover agent for Hezbollah.
