Once again, Lebanese-Syrian border falls victim of geography
A Syrian chopper fired three rockets at the Washel Al-Krays town of Arsal situated 500m from the Lebanese-Syrian border Monday morning.

At a time when a military source denied through LBCI that the three rockets fell at the border and inside Syria, Arsal’s residents stressed that a rocket hit the Ain Ghorab border area while the second fell along the border in Wadi al-Mal.

The military source said that a military base for the Syrian army located at the Syrian-Lebanese border was attacked overnight by Syrian rebels, killing an officer and 4 soldiers.

Conflicting reports emerged on whether the perpetrators came from inside Lebanon or from Syrian territories.

In this regard, the head of Arsal’s municipality told LBCI that there were no gunmen were crossing from Arsal into Syria, adding that the media mentions Arsal at any incident.
