Diab meets Mount Lebanon Traders Union delegation
Prime Minister Hassan Diab held a meeting on Wednesday at the Grand Serail with a delegation from Mount Lebanon Traders Union in the presence of Minister of Information Manal Abdel Samad.

PM Diab welcomed the delegation, saying, "I am aware of all your concerns and problems. But the country is passing through an exceptional period, so it is quite normal to suffer from many losses on all levels.

Lebanon is not the only country suffering from this economic crisis, for the entire world is facing this crisis, but ours is double.

Today all of us must bear a bit.

It is imperative that these losses be shared and not be borne by the State alone, or by traders alone, or by people alone.

I hope that you will endure this difficult stage so that we can overcome it until we are in the clear in no time."

The delegation discussed with Prime Minister Diab the economic, commercial, financial and industrial problems facing the Union, and members of the delegation presented proposals aimed at encouraging the work of the sector.

Later, Prime Minister received a delegation of Northern Lebanon dignitaries in the presence of Telecommunications Minister Talal Hawat, followed by a delegation from Dal Al-Aytam.
