Aoun: It is unacceptable to close church doors in the face of visitors
Head of the Change and Reform Bloc MP Michel Aoun held a press conference on Tuesday whereby he tackled the country's recent issues ranging from a wide set of topics.

Several questions were raised by the Former Lebanese General, most prominently pertaining to unratified laws at parliament.

"What has become of the foreign ownership’s law? Is it being hindered on purpose?" he asked.

Several crucial draft laws are not passing ratification and this is "intolerable" he added.

Commenting on the incident which took place at Our Lady of Ilige during Aoun's visit on Sunday whereby his convoy's passage was blocked by Lebanese forces partisans, Aoun had only to express worry at the "recent behavior portrayed by Christians."

"It is unacceptable to close church doors in the face of visitors", Aoun added.

"I was unaware that the church was placed under the ownership of the Lebanese Forces," Aoun mockingly concluded.

Aoun's statements came after the weekly meeting of the Change and Reform bloc.
