FBI in Beirut soon to help investigate Brig. Gen. Wissam al-Hasan's assassination

The ISF Director General, Major General Ashraf Rifi said on Tuesday that a delegation from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will arrive soon to Beirut to provide technical assistance in the investigation of Brig. Gen. Wissam al-Hassan's assassination.

Rifi said that after an agreement with PM Najib Mikati and the US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, the technical assistance delegation will be in Lebanon within 2 or 3 days

The Public Relations Division of the Internal Security Forces reported that FBI Director Robert Mueller made contact with General Rifi and expressed his country's readiness to help in the investigation.
